More about Aberdeen Street [Unique Bar & Restaurant Shop with Outdoor for Lease]
This unique bar & restaurant shop with outdoor for lease is located on Aberdeen Street (鴨巴甸街). Aberdeen Street is a street in Central, Hong Kong.
The street is regarded a border street dividing Sheung Wan and Central on Hong Kong Island. It is sloping up from Queen’s Road Central to Caine Road in Mid-levels.
In early days after 1841, east of Aberdeen Street was an area of Western population, whereas Chinese people moved to south of Aberdeen Street, the area around Tai Ping Shan Street in Sheung Wan.
Aberdeen Street is a neighborhood hangout area. Its history, character and environment has drawn a number of restaurants and bars to be built along the street.
PMQ, Former Police Married Quarters, is bounded by Hollywood Road, Aberdeen Street, Staunton Street and Shing Wong Street. It was transformed into art workshops, exhibition venues and F&B shops in 2014.
A number of interesting F&B concepts were introduced to PMQ during the opening, such as Aberdeen Street Social by Jason Atherton, plus Vasco and Isono by Paolo Casagrande.
Vasco was turned into Dining Room in 2016. Both Dining Room and Isono were closed by early 2017.
Aberdeen Street Social is a restaurant, cocktail bar and café in PMQ. Its bright 2-floored venue has outdoor seating and garden terrace, overlooking Hollywood Road.
Pici is an Italian pasta bistro on Aberdeen Street. It is the second shop after its first shop in Wan Chai. Pici is making own pasta in the kitchen. Reasonable price and no service charge. Worth to try!
Lin Heung Tea House is a two-storey Chinese restaurant founded in 1926 at junction of Wellington Street and Aberdeen Street. It is famous for its authentic Chinese dim-sum. Still served with trolleys, a traditional way in old days.
