More about Bridges Street

Bridges Street (必列者士街) is a street in Sheung Wan, 300 meters long only. The Street interests Staunton Street on the East, which is regarded as an extension of Soho Central.

Immediately connected to Staunton Street and Aberdeen Street of Soho Central. PMQ, a landmark of exhibition, restaurants and artist workshops in Central, is just next door.

Bridges Street is connected by Ladder Street to Hollywood Road, where Man Mo Temple, one of the famous Chinese temples in Hong Kong.

PMQ, formerly known as the Hollywood Road Police Married Quarters, is a landmark around Bridges Street.

In 2009, the site was listed as one of eight projects under “Conserving Central”.  Now it is a hub for design and creative industries, exhibition venues and F&B spaces.

Bridges Street was once residential area in Sheung Wan. After more new residential buildings were developed and PMQ refurnished works completed,

Bridges Street, Aberdeen Street and Hollywood Road have attracted more F&B operators from Central and elsewhere to there around.

Oolaa under Catelo’s Concepts is a unique all day dining restaurants with around 6,000 s.f. located on Bridges Street.

It is a combination of a restaurant, lounge bar and a café all in one. Its wide frontage and bright interior provide a relaxing dining environment.

Yardbird is just located a little further down Bridges Street than Oalaa. A cosy bistro. No fancy décor. Little New York touches like the menu tacked on wall. Its menu is simple, interesting though.
