More about Wyndham Street
Wyndham Street (雲咸街) is a street in Central, one of the earliest colonial streets in Hong Kong. Named as Pedder Hill before.
It starts at the junction of Queen’s Road Central, heads uphill to another end at the junction with Hollywood Road and Arbuthnot Road, near to the former Central Police Station.
The street is centrally located with office buildings nearby and started to attract F&B operators to set up their bars, clubs and restaurant around there.
Dragon-i on Wyndham Street for almost 15 years has got to be one of the best high-end club and restaurant in Hong Kong.
Its stunning interior, beautiful staffs and well-dressed customers let Dragon-i become one of the must-visit venues for Hollywood stars and tourists.
Wyndham Street was once regarded as an extension of bar street after Lan Kwai Fong. It is famous of night scene in Central. A popular expatriate haunt for drinking, clubbing and dining.
Former Central Police Station, a site for revitalization of a heritage project, funded by Hong Kong Jockey Club, is a landmark on Wyndham Street.
It was originally scheduled to be converted into a compound for heritage, art and dining in 2017. The sudden collapse of partial buildings in this compound in 2016 has delayed the opening schedule.
